MESSAGE FROM THE GENERAL DIRECTOR

SANYO LIFE MATERIAL CO., LTD. was established as of October 1, 2020, by the merger of AZZURRO CORPORATION LTD. (AZRO) and NKS CORPORATION LTD., both of which were wholly owned subsidiaries of SANYO TRADING CO., LTD. (STC), also with the integration of a part of STC's businesses.

AZRO had the strength in sourcing from Indian market, especially in import, export and sales of APIs and API intermediates. NKS had a feature in sourcing from Chinese market, especially in dealing with food additives with a focus on organic acids. In addition to the above, the businesses of Hotmelt Adhesives and related equipment, and also TRITEX-brand materials for construction were transferred to us from STC.

Our company name "SANYO LIFE MATERIAL" comes from our company's aim at enhancing our business of a wide range of materials in the field of Life Sciences.

We will contribute to enrich people's lives by supplying our services consistent with customers' needs.

AZZURRO CORPORATION LTD.

1992
Mr. Takashi Yokouchi founded AZZURRO CORPORATION LTD., by taking over the domestic fine chemical businesses of Montedison/Enichem Group of Italy with the divisionalization of the group.
1993
Started its business with India in earnest and started import and sales of Indian-made Dyestuffs, Pigments and Organic Intermediates in Japan.
1996
Increase of capital.
1998
Started business tie-up with former Kemira which was a major chemical company in Finland (currently Taminco and Niacet both of which are subsidiaries of EASTMAN Chemical) .
Started businesses of Intermediates for Photo-Coupler and Organic Acids.
2007
Established DISHMAN JAPAN LTD. by the joint investment with DISHMAN GROUP which is an Indian contract manufacturing company of APIs and API intermediates (Dissolved the partnership in 2015).
Oct. 2017
Transferred shares to SANYO TRADING CO.,
LTD. (STC) and became a group company of STC.

Mr. Tomoyasu Nakamura and Mr. Takayuki Kondo, who used to work for former Fujisawa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (currently Astellas Pharma Inc.) founded NKS CORPORATION LTD.

Started sales of Sodium Erythorbate, Glucono Delta Lactone and Sodium Gluconate.

Started sales of Adipic Acid.
